This excellent Cottage Craft Leather snaffle Bridle is manufactured from a high quality vegetable tanned leather. This leather is Eco-friendly in contrast to most chemically tanned leather. The normal chrome tanning process involves several steps includingthe useof Chromium sulphate which creates toxic waste. Vegetable tanning is completely different. Hides are stretched on frames and immersed in pits in the ground for a long period with natural barks such as chestnut, oak and hemlock. After which they are spun in a drum for 3 days to produce the required colour. The process takes much longer than chemical tanning but ensures that the leather is extremely strong and subtle.This Lincoln Snaffle Bridle features a flat noseband and browband, it has hook billets, Stainless steel fittings and also a set of plain reins.

This bridle comes in3 sizes, Pony, Cob and Fulland in 2 colours Black or Havana.
