With a mouthpiece comprising a series of stainless-steel rollers connected by large links the Abbey Waterford is a very moveable bit which conforms to the shape of the mouth. The Abbey Eggbutt is a fixed cheek, which means that there is no play between the mouthpiece and the cheek, as with a loose ring bit.
